Studie Beurs 2010:
Objective college selection platform with a view of the future
Studie Beurs offers a national and objective platform to enable pupils to make the correct and optimal choice regarding their future college education. Studie Beurs can help pupils from all levels of secondary education make an information decision. Studie Beurs gives pupils, but also parents and deans, the opportunity to compare a great diversity of universities and colleges.
The Dutch society benefits from well-educated people at all social levels. For young people, it is important to objectively make a choice for the study that suits their individual wishes and needs. Parents want to be involved and student counsellors also play a central role in the process of making a study choice. The new Studie Beurs facilitates the needs of everyone concerned, with an extensive program:
University campus
University Campus is a completely new concept for higher education institutions, where the possibilities offered by nine disciplines and the contents of various courses are at the center stage. Objective key note sessions give the pupils more insight into the various disciplines.
Parent program
The parent program consists of a workshop ‘How to coach my child in choosing the right college’. There are also ’10 minute’-meetings, offering parents made-to-measure advice at the Studiekeuzecoaches stand.
Dean program
In cooperation with NVS-NVL we are planning summit talks for deans. The interesting conference program will try to answer one important question: How do I prepare pupils for an uncertain future? Which role do the different (new) media have to play? There will also be a dean's lounge on the exhibition floor, a dean's lunch at the exhibition café and various tours around the fair.
Matchmaking tool for pre -college pupils
In cooperation with Studiekeuze123 a matchmaking tool has been developed to help pre-college and pre-university pupils make the right decision about further education around and during Studie Beurs. In practice, this means that pupils who registered for the Studie Beurs event and filled in their profile, can expect a complete and objective offering at Studiekeuze123.
Visitor advisory Group
All Studie Beurs activities are tested by ISO, JOB, LAKS, LSVB and NVS-NVL. This ensures us that we are offering a fair that really benefits pupils!
